maintains contact with hundreds
of local and national firms to
determine employer needs. MCC graduates
are often referred and scheduled
for employment interviews as employment
openings occur. While graduates
cannot be guaranteed a job or starting
salary, MCC has long been a source
of qualified applicants for business
and industry. MCC's reputation
is valued both for the respect
our graduates receive and for the
opportunity it provides our students.
Although the future is promising
for MCC graduates, proficiency
in technical skills, employable
attitudes and good work habits
are essential. It is important
for graduates to actively participate
in their job search campaign and
to assume responsibility for their
employment. |
| Individual Advising |
| Medical Careers College offers
objective guidance through individual
advising. The school makes every
effort to advise individual students
with regard to housing, part-time
employment, transportation, job
search preparation and other circumstances
that may otherwise distract the
student from his or her education.
It is important for you to know
that the entire administrative
and teaching staff are available
to talk with you about any problems
that may need to be discussed.
Seek advice, even if the problem
seems small, whether personal or
school related ... don't allow
a small problem to become a large
problem. |
| Academic Advising |
| All programs have periodic academic
advising with regards to grades,
attendance and satisfactory academic
progress. Advisement may include
tutoring and/or skills review. |
